The text is not our own translation: it is the official liturgical text of each language, the one prayed in each country. When a prayer has different versions according to the missal, the current one is used.

This is one of the longer prayers, so the mug features the identifying passage engraved on it rather than the entire text: we prefer it to be legible rather than cramming it all in with unreadable typography. The complete text can be found in the blog post linked below.

Is the text your own translation?
No. It is the official text of each language. Translating it ourselves would result in a prayer that no one in that country would recognize when reading it.

What is on the back?
The symbol of prayer, drawn from what the prayer itself expresses. It is common to all languages, so it looks the same whichever one you choose.

Is it dishwasher and microwave safe?
Yes. The sublimation is beneath the glaze, not on top.
