Saints Joachim and Anne mug

This Saints Joachim and Anne mug can be a gift for a Joachim, an Anne or a family that shares their devotion. The icon and names on the reverse dedicate the keepsake to the Virgin Mary’s parents according to Christian tradition. Accompany it with words about a family celebration or an experience that connects you with its recipient, explaining the reason for your choice.

Saints Joachim and Anne mug with an icon of Anne

The image shows a Byzantine icon of Saint Anne with a red cloak, holding Mary as a child against a golden background. Anne and the Virgin’s representation accompanies the joint remembrance of Joachim and Anne. Choose the design for the recipient’s connection with this devotion or interest in images from Christian tradition, adding your own message when giving the gift.

The New Testament Gospels do not name Mary’s parents. Their names and the best-known accounts come from apocryphal writings and later traditions about the Virgin’s childhood. The memory of Joachim and Anne developed in Christian prayer and art. This distinction allows their devotion to be shared without presenting those narratives as a documented biography with secure individual dates, preserving the character of the tradition that gives the gift meaning.
