This Saint Augustine mug can be a gift for an Augustine or someone who finds inspiration for reflection in his writings. The illustrations and reverse let you choose between a quotation from his Confessions and references to his life. Accompany the keepsake with words about a name day, a shared reading or a conversation that brought you together.

Saint Augustine mug for a shared reading

Choose from four illustrations in soft colour or dark ink. This lets you adapt the gift to the image its recipient prefers and the style you would like for the keepsake. A few personal words when giving it can explain why you chose this particular saint and what you would like to remember together.

The prayer option carries the quotation beginning “Nos hiciste para Ti” in its Spanish version, from the opening of the Confessions. It is available in Spanish, Catalan, German, English, French, Italian and Portuguese. Choose the language and read the prepared text in the preview. It can suit someone who would like a reminder of the search for God and the rest in God expressed by this passage.

Places from his life on the reverse

The Saint Augustine mug also offers a biography printed in Spanish. It includes his birth in Thagaste on 13 November 354, death in Hippo in 430, his name as Saint Augustine of Hippo and his commemoration on 28 August. Choose this version to accompany the illustration with references to his life. A connection with the Augustinian tradition, an interest in his thought or a shared learning experience can give the gift meaning.

Before ordering, you can rotate the composition in the 3D viewer to examine the image and text from different angles. Selecting Both sides displays two opposing views of the same design, with rotation still available. Choose the handle orientation for a right-handed or left-handed user. The number of mugs you wish to receive is selected separately from the views shown.

We print the design by sublimation on a 330 ml ceramic mug. Give it for a celebration or as a reminder of a shared devotion, with your own words about the reason for choosing it. Our collection of religious mugs offers other figures for gifts connected with the recipient's name, community or personal story, so you can choose a meaningful reminder for each person.
