Blessed Francis Faá di Bruno mug with a historical photograph

The sepia image shows him seated, with a moustache and an open book. This old photograph makes his face recognisable and connects it with a life dedicated to different fields. The book can support the meaning of a gift chosen for someone who enjoys learning or teaching.

Francis was born in Alessandria in 1825. After his military years, he devoted himself to mathematics, studied in Paris and taught. His path included scientific publications, sacred music and social foundations. He was ordained a priest later in life, so his memory brings together vocations developed through different stages of his life.
