This Saint Benedict mug can accompany a greeting for someone named Benedict or become a reminder for someone sharing Benedictine spirituality. The illustrations and your chosen reverse let you dedicate the gift to prayer or details of the saint. Choose it for a community, a retreat experience or a devotion present in your family, explaining the connection when you give it.

Choose one of six illustrations

The customiser offers six illustrations in soft colour or dark ink. Examine each composition and select the one that means most to the recipient. Benedict's name is linked to monastic life and a tradition of prayer. A few personal words can connect that tradition with the community or experience you share.

The prayer option carries the text beginning “La santa Cruz sea mi luz”. It is available in Spanish, Catalan, German, English, French, Italian and Portuguese from Portugal. Choose the prayer language and check its composition in the preview before continuing. This lets you consider the language in which the recipient prays without having to write the prepared text yourself.

Choose prayer or biographical details on the reverse

The alternative biography is printed in Spanish. It includes his name, Nursia as his birthplace and the 11 July commemoration. Choose it if you prefer the other side to identify the saint and his celebration. Accompany the gift with a conversation about his memory and the recipient's connection with it, or explain why you chose this reminder of a shared devotion.

Before ordering, you can rotate the composition in the 3D viewer to examine the image and text from different angles. Selecting Both sides displays two opposing views of the same design, with rotation still available. Choose the handle orientation for a right-handed or left-handed user. The number of mugs you wish to receive is selected separately from the views shown.

We print the design by sublimation on a 330 ml ceramic mug. Give it for a celebration or as a reminder of a shared devotion, with your own words about the reason for choosing it. Our collection of religious mugs offers other figures for gifts connected with the recipient's name, community or personal story, so you can choose a meaningful reminder for each person.
