Saint John Bosco mug

€10,95

For someone with fond memories of school or a shared Salesian devotion, the Saint John Bosco mug can be a gift with a familiar story. The old photograph of the priest fills one side and the main milestones of his life appear on the other. You can dedicate it to John, an educator or someone for whom Don Bosco is an important reference.

Don Bosco and caring for young people

John Bosco was born in I Becchi on 16 August 1815. To study, he had to combine his education with various jobs, and as a young man he used games and artistic skills to gather other boys together. After being ordained a priest in Turin, he came to know the difficulties of young people arriving in the city to look for work.

This care for young people is part of the memory that many families preserve of him. The Saint John Bosco mug can accompany a name day greeting on 31 January or a thank you to someone who has devoted time to teaching and guiding others. A few words about a shared experience will make your reason for choosing it personal.

A photograph and four milestones of his life

The black-and-white image shows him in a cassock, shoulder cape and biretta, with his hands together. The reverse gives his birth in I Becchi, Castelnuovo d’Asti; his death in Turin on 31 January 1888; his beatification on 2 June 1929 and his canonisation on 1 April 1934. It also includes his 31 January commemoration.

You can check all these details in the 3D viewer. ‘Both sides’ displays two opposing views of the same design and keeps the rotation available. Choose a right-handed or left-handed orientation and select the number of mugs you wish to receive separately.

We print the Saint John Bosco mug by sublimation, with the photograph and biographical composition already prepared. Choose the printed text language in the customiser and check it in the preview.
