Saint John Baptist de La Salle mug

€10,95

The Saint John Baptist de La Salle mug is a gift to thank an educator for their dedication or remember a time at a Lasallian school. The founder connected teaching with care for children from poor families and the preparation of teachers. Giving his image can accompany words of gratitude for what was learned and for the people present through those years.

Saint John Baptist de La Salle mug to remember an educator

The painting presents the saint in a black cassock with a white clerical collar and golden halo. His name on the reverse identifies him alongside four milestones of his life and religious recognition. Dedicate the gift to a teacher, a Brother of the Christian Schools or someone with a special connection to this educational tradition.

Born in Reims, La Salle came into contact with free schools through Adrian Nyel. Living with the teachers showed him that continuity in education also needed training and support for those teaching. He founded the Brothers of the Christian Schools and encouraged a classroom organisation attentive to pupils' preparation. This care for teachers' everyday work gives meaning to a thank-you gift.

Four milestones alongside his name

The Saint John Baptist de La Salle mug records his birth in Reims in 1651 and death in Saint-Yon on 7 April 1719. It includes beatification in 1888 and canonisation in 1900 as separate milestones. The indicated commemoration is 7 April. Choose it for the end of a school year, an educational community celebration or a keepsake among former pupils.

Before ordering, you can rotate the composition in the 3D viewer to examine the image and text from different angles. Selecting Both sides displays two opposing views of the same design, with rotation still available. Choose the handle orientation for a right-handed or left-handed user. The number of mugs you wish to receive is selected separately from the views shown.

We print the composition by sublimation. The printed text is in Spanish. Choose this gift for the name, history or devotion that connects you with its recipient, and accompany it with a few personal words about why you thought of them. Our collection of religious mugs includes other figures and celebrations, so you can dedicate each gift to someone in your family or community.
