Saint Andrew the Apostle mug

This Saint Andrew the Apostle mug is a gift idea for an Andrew or someone who shares a devotion to the apostle. The chosen painting recalls the tradition of his martyrdom, while the reverse identifies his name and feast. Give it with a message about a family celebration, a Gospel reading or the image that brought him to mind, explaining your personal connection with the recipient.

A Saint Andrew the Apostle mug with a painting

The representation shows him tied to an X-shaped cross, surrounded by soldiers with spears and a standard. The scene belongs to the artistic tradition of his martyrdom and may interest someone familiar with that iconography. Review the composition to choose a gift suited to the recipient, and explain why you chose this particular image of the saint. Your own words can connect it with a shared devotion.

The Gospels present Andrew among the twelve apostles and as Simon Peter’s brother. John initially places him among the Baptist’s disciples and recounts how he brought his brother to meet Jesus. Matthew and Mark recall the call beside the fishing nets. His figure thus connects the everyday life of Galilee’s fishermen with the beginnings of the group of disciples, a context you can share when dedicating the keepsake.

His name and feast on 30 November

The Saint Andrew the Apostle mug carries the name «Saint Andrew, apostle» and the commemoration on 30 November. The text accompanies the painting to identify the figure to whom the design is dedicated. Choose it for his feast, an Andrew’s name day or a community’s connection with his memory. A personal dedication can relate the gift to a Gospel reading or a celebration that matters to its recipient.

Before ordering, you can rotate the composition in the 3D viewer to examine the image and text from different angles. Selecting Both sides displays two opposing views of the same design, with rotation still available. Choose the handle orientation for a right-handed or left-handed user. The number of mugs you wish to receive is selected separately from the views shown.

We print the composition by sublimation. Choose the printed text language in the customiser and check it in the preview. Choose this gift for the name, history or devotion that connects you with its recipient, and accompany it with a few personal words about why you thought of them. Our collection of religious mugs includes other figures and celebrations, so you can dedicate each gift to someone in your family or community.
