Saint Alphonsus Mary de Liguori mug with a religious painting

The image shows the saint as a young man, wearing a black cassock and white clerical collar and holding a crucifix. The representation preserves the painting’s character and connects the keepsake with a priestly figure. Choose this design for someone who appreciates devotional art or wishes to keep an image of Alphonsus alongside his life details, adding your own message to the gift.

Alphonsus worked as a lawyer before directing his life towards the priesthood. His activity combined popular preaching, pastoral care and an extensive body of books on moral theology, prayer and Christian life. He founded the Redemptorist community and was bishop of Sant’Agata de’ Goti. This context can give meaning to the gift when there is a connection with his communities, writings or a shared experience of learning, relating the image to the recipient’s interests.
