The image and life milestones recall the founder of the Little Sisters of the Abandoned Elderly. Give it with words about someone who has supported you or the community to which you wish to dedicate this keepsake, explaining your personal reason for choosing it.

Saint Teresa Jornet mug with a scene of welcome

The design shows a white marble monument in which the saint, wearing a religious habit, welcomes an older woman and man. The scene connects her figure with care for older people and gives meaning to a gift for someone familiar with that work. This representation recalls Teresa through the people to whom she dedicated her life, connecting the image with the recipient’s own experience.

Before finding her vocation in caring for older people, Teresa studied teaching and worked as a teacher. Her religious work combined accommodation, food and daily care for older people without resources or companionship. The congregation spread across Spain and reached the Americas. If the recipient knows one of its communities, accompany the mug with a memory of that connection or a personal expression of gratitude for support and care shared within your family or community.

Her life and two distinct milestones on the reverse

The Saint Teresa Jornet mug carries her full name, «Saint Teresa of Jesus Jornet e Ibars».
