His image evokes a bishop whose memory remains present in Kraków, at Wawel Cathedral and in the celebrations at Skalka. It is a gift for sharing a family devotion or remembering a city that made an impression on you.

Saint Stanislaus of Kraków mug with an episcopal image

The panel painting presents the saint enthroned, with a mitre, pastoral staff and a red and gold chasuble. The kneeling figures accompanying him form part of an image expressing his veneration as a pastor. The design brings that artistic tradition into an everyday gift, with the saint's name on the reverse to identify him.

Stanislaus was bishop of Kraków in the eleventh century. His confrontation with King Bolesław II and his death gave rise to a religious memory connected with the ruler's moral duty and the pastor's service. In time, he became one of Poland's principal patron saints. For someone interested in his history, accompany the gift with memories of Wawel or a pilgrimage you shared.

Canonisation and commemoration on the reverse

The Saint Stanislaus of Kraków mug records canonisation in 1253 and the 11 April commemoration alongside his name. That is his commemoration in the general calendar; Poland also has a particularly prominent celebration on 8 May. The design carries 11 April, visible in the preview. Choose it for his name day, as a keepsake for a fellow pilgrim or as a gift for a friend.

Before ordering, you can rotate the composition in the 3D viewer to examine the image and text from different angles.
