The composition brings movement and angelic figures around its central subject. Choose it for someone who knows this work or wishes to keep an image of their devotion among the objects they use each day.

Hermenegild was a Visigothic prince, the son of Leovigild. His conversion to Catholicism and conflict with his father gave rise to ancient accounts assigning different weight to faith and political struggle. The tradition passed down by Gregory the Great centres his remembrance as a martyr on his refusal to return to Arianism. Share that history when explaining your choice, while distinguishing the religious account from the painting's details.

Name, place and commemoration on the reverse

The Saint Hermenegild mug gives Tarragona as the place of his death and the 13 April commemoration on the reverse. These details accompany his name in this design. If the gift recalls a visit to Tarragona, a relative's name or a shared devotion, your own words can explain the connection. Choose it for his celebration or an interest in Christian art you share with its recipient.

Before ordering, you can rotate the composition in the 3D viewer to examine the image and text from different angles.
